Union Minister of State for Home Haribhai Chaudhary reviewed the security situation along the Indo-Pak border in Kutch district.
During his two-day visit that ended today, Chaudhary paid a visit to several posts of the Border Security Force (BSF) along the Indo-Pak border near Lakhpat, Harami Nallah and Dholavira in Kutch, an official press release by BSF said.
"He was accompanied by several top BSF officials such as Inspector General of Gujarat Frontier Santosh Mehra and officials of Border Management Division of Ministry of Home Affairs. He took stock of current security set up at the border during his visit," the release said.
Chaudhary enquired about the problems and demands of the local units of the BSF and assured resolution of their issues, sources said.
