Union office bearers' names contested

K Vikram Rao today contested the names of office bearers of Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ), which had yesterday written to the government seeking law for safety of journalists.

In a statement, he said IFWJ figures in the list of Registrar of Trade Unions in Delhi and the names of IFWJ office-bearers, which news reports mention in connection with a memorandum to the government, are not in the Registrar's records.
