Bringing to focus the traditional Bengali cuisine, a leading FM channel now hosts a live culinary show.
Audiences of the 92.7 FM were treated to the live competition 'Rannaghare Big Sreemati' among shortlisted contestants with actor-film scrip writer-popular tv show host Sudipa Mukhopadhyay judging the delicacies along with chef Indranil Roy Chowdhury.
"Any female listener could send entry which was then screened by our panel and turned out to be excellent cooks in Kolkata who are eager to learn, grow. This competition is a celebration of the aspiring cooks of Kolkata," RJ Kaushik said.
"It doesn't matter if you're a self-taught cook, a culinary school graduate," Indranil, a popular chef, said.
