UP: 15-year-old murdered

A 15-year-old boy, a student of class IX, was allegedly killed by some persons who battered him with bricks in the Patti area here, the police said.

The incident took place when the victim - Suraj - was returning home and was hit with bricks, they said. He was rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment.

A probe is on, the police said.
