UP: 2 children drown in river

Two children drowned in river Ghaghra at Gudriyanpurva village in Kaisergaj area here, police said today.

The children identified as Dilip (10) and Arti (9) were playing in the river yesterday when they drowned, they said.

The bodies have been fished out, police said, adding they have been handed over to the family for last rites.
