UP CM orders vigilance probe against builder

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today ordered a vigilance probe against a private builder which had allegedly paid crores to officials of Ghaziabad Development Authority, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and Rajkiya Nirman Nigam for getting contract during the previous BSP regime.

The inquiry has been ordered to find out facts regarding the officers, who allegedly took money from the firm, official sources said here.

Income Tax department had raided establishments of the builder after which it informed the Chief Secretary that prima facie it was found that crores of rupees were given by the company to the officials of GDA, YEIDA and RNN between 2007-12 to grab contracts.
 

On basis of report from IT department, the Chief Minister ordered a vigilance probe, they said.
