The Uttar Pradesh government is mulling opening of around 1,000 stores selling generic drugs at affordable prices outside government hospitals, state minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi said here today.
The state Women and Child Welfare Minister made a sudden inspection of Ashadeep Foundation Shelter Home at Shahid Nagar in this district and admonished the officials concerned for lack of cleanliness and their lackadaisical attitude.
She also visited a shelter home on the district women's hospital premises and noticed that the complaint register was not maintained properly.
Joshi also made a call at women helpline number 108 and found it to working properly.
