UP govt suspends Allahabad divisional commissioner

The Uttar Pradesh government today suspended Divisional Commissioner of Allahabad, an official spokesman said here.

Brij Kishore Singh has been suspended on the charges of laxity related to inspection of illegal plying of vehicles and mining in Fatehpur and Kaushambi districts, he said.

During suspension period the commissioner would remain attached to the Revenue Board at Lucknow.
