UP: SP holds state-wide protests on law and order

In a bid to corner the Yogi Adityanath government on the law and order front, the Samajwadi Party today staged protests in all the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
SP leaders also sought an intervention by Governor Ram Naik so that the situation in the state can be improved.
"The SP workers held protest in all the 75 districts and gave a memorandum addressed to the Governor, to respective District Magistrates, demanding his intervention to control law and order in the state", SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary told reporters here.
Criminals have become "fearless" in the present regime and the BJP government has failed to check their activities in the state, SP leaders claimed.
