UPPCL employee electrocuted

An employee of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) was electrocuted after he came in contact with a high tension wire in Bhopa village here, police said today.

Anil Kumar died on the spot last night, they said.

In another incident, a farmer was electrocuted when he was fixing a tubewell in his field at Jalalpur village in Shamli district yesterday, police said.

His body was found in the tube-well, they added.
