Prices of urad dal moved up while rest of all other commodities ruled steady on the fifth day today in the wholesale foodgrain market.
The price of urad dal rose Rs 900 per quintal to Rs 13,100, from yesterday's rate of Rs 12,200.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 14,200, Urad Dal Rs 13,100, Moong Dal Rs 9,800, Gram Dal Rs 6,400, Sugar Rs 2,800, Wheat Rs 3,000, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
