US-led coalition strikes pro-regime forces in Syria: official

US-led coalition forces "destroyed" pro-regime forces in Syria today after they advanced into an area they had been warned not to enter, the coalition said in a statement.

It was the second time in less than a month that coalition forces have attacked pro-regime forces as they headed toward a garrison where coalition commandos have been training and advising local forces.
