Uttar Pradesh govt transfers 2 IPS officers

The Uttar Pradesh government today transferred two IPS officers, including the police chiefs of two districts.

Superintendent of police Kaushambi, K Ejilearassane has been transferred to CB-CID Lucknow while ASP Shamli, Virendra Kumar Misra will take over the former's place, a home department spokesman said.

The posts of SP Deoria, Pankaj Kumar and SP intelligence Prabhakar Chaudhary, have been swapped, the spokesman added.
