Uttarakhand BJP leader, another killed in road accident

A district-level BJP leader and another person were killed when the car they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge, police said today.

35-year-old Sawan Chandar Ramola and his co-passenger Kamal Singh Rawat died in the accident last evening, Inspector Mukhtar Mohsin said.

The incident took place at Dehradun-Satya road at around 8 PM, Mohsin said, adding that the police came to know about the mishap this morning.
