A 20-year-old girl from Uzbekistan has been arrested after she was caught by Shastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel from India-Nepal border here without valid documents.
Akbaraliyeva Dilnua (20) was detained yesterday near Sonauli bus station without passport and visa, SSB second commandant Mitul Kumar said here.
The girl was later hand over to the police after she failed to provide valid documents and was formally arrested.
During interrogation the girl told police that she lost her passport and was living in India for past six months. She was trying to go to Nepal.
