VCK leader Thiruma loses
Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) founder Thol Thirumaavalavan lost by a thin margin of 87 votes in Kattumannarkoil (SC) constituency.
The Dalit leader, who contested as the candidate of DMDK-People's Welfare Front-TMC, lost to AIADMK's N Murugumaran.
Thirumalavan polled 48,363 votes, while Murugumaran, a sitting MLA, got 48,450 votes.
