Puducherry unit today staged a demonstration at the Directorate of Education here demanding that the Right to Education Act was implemented in letter and spirit in the Union Territory.
"Private institutions are being pampered by the lopsided policy of the government while those hailing from poor families and seeking admission in government schools are facing hardship," the protesters said.
