VE Commercial Vehicles today reported 20.66% jump in total sales of its Eicher branded products at 3,387 units in December.
The company, which is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 2,807 units in the year-ago period.
Domestic sales registered a growth of 26.6% to 3,002 units in December as against 2,372 units in the same month in 2013, VECV said in a statement.
However, exports of Eicher trucks and buses fell by 11.5% to 385 units last month as against 435 units in the same month in the previous month, it added.
