VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) today reported 25.1 per cent jump in total sales of its Eicher branded products at 3,262 units in January this year.
The company, which is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 2,608 units in the year-ago period.
Domestic sales registered a growth of 25.1 per cent to 2,905 units in January 2015 as against 2,322 units in the same month in 2014, VECV said in a statement.
Exports of Eicher trucks and buses rose 24.8 per cent to 357 units last month as against 286 units in the same month in the previous month, it added.
