Veteran journalist Ramsewak Shrivastava passes away

Veteran journalist Ramsewak Shrivastava passed away due to age-related ailments here.

He was 84.

The last rites of Shrivastava, who passed away on Friday, were performed here yesterday.

The veteran journalist, whose career spans over three decades, had worked with weekly 'Dinmaan', Dainik Jagran and Navbharat Times.

Born on January 13, 1931 at Gagha village in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur district, Shrivastava retired from 'Times group' in 1991 after serving their for 26 years.

After which he was associated with Sulabh international and edited 'Sulabh Patrika' for them.

He had worked with poets and journalists like Raghuvir Sahay, Sachchidananda Hirananda Vatsyayan 'Agyeya', Vidya Niwas Mishra and Gurudev Gupt.
