VHP leader gets threat call

The district secretary of the Vishva Hindu Parishad received a threat call allegedly from the district magistrate's number here, police said today.

VHP leader Sorabh Sharma received the phone call yesterday. Police traced the number to a phone used by the district magistrate of Muzaffarnagar, D K Singh.

However, the DM maintained that his number had been hacked, police said.

The matter is under investigation.
