Still recuperating from a leg injury, FC Goa Brazilian striker Victor Simoes de Oliveira, has been flown back to Brazil and coach Zico is now trying to get his replacement at the earliest.

FC Goa coach Zico was hoping Oliveira, who was carrying an injury to his leg, would recover and play in the second leg of the ongoing Indian Super League.

But with Oliveira showing no improvement to his injury, Zico has decided to send him back to Brazil.

"It's unfortunate that we cannot get Victor Simoes to play in the ongoing ISL because of the injury he is having. He is a very good player but we cannot do anything but ask for a replacement," he said.

"We have selected five players and will make a final call very soon to choose the best among the five as we want to field him directly into playing eleven after signing as we have little time because of transfer window period and the tournament will get over soon," said Zico.
