Vigilance probe against Agriculture Minister ordered

A Special Vigilance Court here today ordered a probe against state's Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan for allegedly abetting irregularties in the Kerala State Horticulture Products Development Corporation (Horticorp).

Special Court Judge S Soman also directed to conduct probe against Horticorp MD V V Pushpagathan, former Horticorp MD Prathapan, Assistant Manager in-charge Muhammed Anaz, Accounts Officer R Malini and Computer Officer R Geeta.

The order was issued on a petition filed by Kerala State Horticulture Employees Congress Working President L Sugunan.

Pathananthitta SP (Vigilance) would be in charge of the investigation, which has to be submitted within two months.
