Vijay Kumar is new IG, Prisons

Tamil Nadu Government today announced the appointment of Additional Director General of Police, Vijay Kumar as Inspector General of Prisons.

Kumar, who was on central deputation has reported back on completion of tenure, and has been posted as IG Prisons, an official release said.

He replaces S George, the release said.
