The Jharkhand BJP unit today said the 'Vikas Parv' (festival of development) has already begun as the Raghubar Das government is completing two years in office later this month.
BJP spokesman Pratul Shahdeo said the Raghubar Das government in its two years has formulated local policy, simplified CNT (Chhotanagpur Tenancy Act) and SPT (Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act), constructed dobhas (ponds), initiated cashless Jharkhand campaign, reduced age of beneficiaries under widow pension scheme and stepped up rural electrification and health insurance policy.
The Parv has already begun and MPs, MLAs, district presidents and minister concerned would address at respective blocks and district, a press release said quoting Shahdeo.

Praising Chief Minister Raghubar Das for activating 20-point programme committees, another party spokesman Praveen Prabhakar said this would give a fillip to developmental programmes.
The BJP leaders also wished party's state unit president Laxman Gilua on his birthday, the release added.
