Villager injured in bear attack in J-K

A villager was injured after being attacked by a bear in Jammu and Kashmirs Ramban district today, police said.

Ghulam Nabi Mir, an employee of the state Public Health Engineering (PHE) department was attacked by the bear while he was on way home in the mountains of Darshipure in the Banihal area of Ramban, they said.

He was rescued by locals and admitted to a hospital, police added.
