Vinayaka Chaturthi was celebrated in Puducherry with traditional zeal and religious fervour today.
People thronged the premises of the more than 350-year-old Manakula Vinayakar temple in the heart of the town from early morning to offer worship to deities in the temple.
Chief Minister of Puducherry V Narayanasamy and Tamil Nadu Industries Minister M C Sampath were among those who worshipped at the temple.
