Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra today expressed grief over the death of seven people in a road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
Governor Vohra has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the mishap near Ramban on the National Highway today, said a Raj Bhawan spokesman.
He said the Governor has expressed sympathy to the bereaved families. The Governor has also wished for quick recovery of those injured in the accident.
"As a new Transport Minister has recently taken over, the Governor has expressed hope that the required measures shall be effectively enforced to reduce the incidents of fatal road accidents," the spokesman said.
