Volvo Auto India will hike prices of its products across model range by up to Rs 2.5 lakh citing rise in input costs.

"All the models would undergo an upward revision in the ex-showroom prices by up to 2.5 per cent," the company said in a statement.

The company sells a range of luxury cars and SUVs, starting from the V40 D3 Kinetic priced at Rs 26.04 lakh to SUV XC90 T8 Excellence tagged at Rs 1.28 crore (all revised ex-showroom prices).

The price increase ranges from Rs 54,200 in V40 Cross Country D3 Inscription model which will now cost Rs 30 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh in SUV XC90 T8 Excellence.

"The increase is due to rise in input costs which affect all models sold in India," it said.

Other automobile manufacturers, including Ford, Honda Cars India and BMW had also announced hike in prices of their vehicles from this month.
