A wanted 'sub-zonal
commander' of an ultra outfit was today arrested with arms and ammunition during a search operation in Seliya jungle in extremist-hit Garwah district.
Superintendent of police, Priyadarshi Alok said Shravan Yadav, sub-zonal commander of Trutiya Prastuti Committee was arrested with four country-made pistols and twelve live cartridges during the search operation.
Yadav is wanted in connection with over 12 cases and has been evading the police for the past 12 years.
