It was a warm and humid morning in the national capital today as the minimum temperature settled at 28.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The humidity level was 79 per cent at 8.30 am today, said a MeT Department official.
The day would remain generally cloudy and rainshowers or thundershowers were likely later on, he said.
The maximum temperature was predicted to hover around 38 degrees Celsius.
No rain was received in the last 24 hours, said the official.
The minimum temperature yesterday was 28.6 degrees whereas the maximum settled at 38.8 degrees Celsius.
