Water level at 50.27 ft

Water level in the Mettur dam this

morning stood at 50.27 feet against the full level of 120 feet.

PWD officials said 2000 cusecs was released from the reservoirfor drinking water purposes to Salem and Namakkal districts.

Inflow was 502 cusecs while outflow 2000 cusecs.
