West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi today greeted the people on the eve of Holi and said it would provide an opportunity to reaffirm people's faith in the country's cultural heritage.
"On the joyous occasion of Holi/Basant Utsav-the festival of colours, I convey my heartiest greetings to the people of West Bengal," Tripathi said in his message.
"... Holi reassures us of the power of the truth and that is the ultimate victory of good over evil," he said.
"May this joyous festival provide an opportunity to reaffirm our faith in the country's cultural heritage, strengthen the secular fabric of our country and spirit of friendship - fraternity among all sections of society," he added.
