Former Congress MP Priya Dutt today said the party suffers from an "auto immune disease" and that everyone within it should try to rebuild the organisation.
"We need to put our heads together and rebuild the party. It's not about one person. This party has not been about one person. It has been about a collective," she told reporters here in the backdrop of assembly results in five states.
While Congress lost badly in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand polls, it won Punjab with a thumping majority. Also, it emerged as the single largest party in Goa and Manipur but the BJP, which finished as the runners-up in both these states--has staked claim to form the governments there after cobbling up the magic numbers.
