Western Command wins Navy Cross Country Championship

Indian Navy Cross Country Championship 2013-14 was held today at INS Dega.

Anil Kumar of Western Naval Command emerged the winner, while P Das of Southern Naval Command was the runner-up.

Eastern, Western and Southern Naval Commands were represented by twelve participants each.

The competition covered a distance of 12 km.

Material Superintendent, Visakhapatnam, Commodore L S Suriaraj flagged the race off.

Western Naval Command team was declared as the overall champion for the year, while Southern Naval Command team was declared runners-up.
