Wheat prices strengthened by Rs 5 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today on increased offtake by flour mills against tight supplies from producing belts.

However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said increased offtake by flour mills mainly supported the upside in wheat prices.
