The "Sorry" hitmaker was shocked when the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor unexpectedly visited him in his hotel and presented him with the "cool" headwear before turning up to one of his gigs accompanied by his 16-year-old daughter Lily-Rose, reported Female First.
"You want to hear a cool Johnny Depp story? I opened up my door at the hotel, I heard knock knock knock and he's like, 'Hey I just wanted to give you this.' He opened a box and I opened it up and it's one of his cool hats.
"I think he was doing a press conference in the lobby and someone told him I was up in my room. And then he came to my show in Miami with his daughter, super nice guy."
