White House says Obama could call Netanyahu today

President Barack Obama could call Benjamin Netanyahu "as soon as" today following the Israel prime minister's election victory, the White House said today.

Obama has yet to speak to Netanyahu since his election victory yesterday. Netanyahu's campaign pledge to block the creation of a Palestinian state has angered the White House, which said it is now re-evaluating its policy on the Middle East peace process.
