Wife axed to death by husband

A wife was allegedly axed to death by her husband in Tulsipur area here, police said today.

Anju (35) was attacked with an axe by her husband Nanke yesterday after they had some dispute, Superintendent of Police Rahul said.

She was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition, where she died.

The accused has been arrested and police is further investigating the issue, he said.
