Wildlife smuggler held in UP

A wildlife smuggler has been arrested by the special task force of Uttar Pradesh police from Bijnor district, STF said here.

Sayeed, wanted by Wildlife crime control bureau (WCCB), was arrested at around 12 yesterday night on a tip-off with the help of local police, they said.

During interrogation, Sayeed confessed to his crime and said that he was in touch with poachers from Haridwar, Dehradun and Haryana, police added.
