Strong winds today suspended high-speed train operations in northeast China for at least three hours caused due to power outage.
High-voltage transmission lines fell on the rail network's overhead lines of Shenyang in Liaoning Province, due to strong winds causing a power outage that halted dozens of high-speed trains between Shenyang and the coastal city of Dalian.
Power was restored around 6 pm after workers repaired the network, and trains have resumed service, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
