Woman AIADMK councillor stabbed in Villupuram
A woman councillor of AIADMK was today stabbed by unidentified persons in this town, police said today.
Sumathy, a member of the Villupuram Municipality, was seriously injured and had been hospitalised, they said.
The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Tension prevailed in the locality in view of the incident.
