Woman alleges gangrape

A 35-year-old woman was

allegedly gangraped by four persons in Asmauli area, police said here today.

The victim alleged that she was gangraped by four persons on June 5 when she was alone at her residence, circle officer Jagveer Singh said.

He said that the woman lodged a complaint with SP Sambhal after which a case was lodged against the accused last evening.

The CO said that the woman has been sent for medical examination and the matter was being investigated.
