Woman and son feared drowned in Nadia district

A woman and her son were feared drowned in the ganga in Nadia district today, police said.

Bapi Majumder (15), of Saguna area of Kalyani went to take bath in the Ganga at Charsarhati in the district. His mother Khukhu Majumder (45) saw him getting drowned and jumped into the river to save him but she also is feared drowned, the police said.
