Woman and son shot dead

A woman and her son were shot

dead by unidentified persons in a village in Bihar's Gopalganj district, Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar said today.

The assailants barged into the house of 65-year-old Dhanesari Devi and shot her and her son 45-year-old Dharmanath Prasad dead in Basaha village under Baikunthpur police station last night, Kumar said.

Property dispute was stated to be the motive behind the killing, he added.
