A woman was assaulted and left in a moribund condition by two minor boys after she resisted their alleged attempt to rape her.
According to the complaint filed by the victim's husband, the 16-year-old accused, a resident of Murshidapur area, and his accomplice tried to rape the woman while she was returning home from work yesterday, Station incharge (Mathura) Inspector Udayraj Singh said.
When the woman resisted, the duo beat her up and dumped her in the bushes and fled, Singh said.
A case has been registered in the matter, he said.
