Woman burns self to death

A 25-year old woman reportedly committed suicide by setting her ablaze in her apartment in Puliyakulam in the city, today.

The woman Jothimani's husband, had gone to market along with their son and the daughter was playing in nearby house. The neighbours heard screams from the the apartment and found Jothimani in flames and immediately broke open the door, only to find the charred body, police said.
