Woman commits suicide along with her three daughters

A 30-year-old woman today allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a pond along with her three minor daughters, the police said.

The deceased woman has been identified as Mirgodevi, and her three daughters as Sumitra (5), Puja (3) and Anita (1), they said.

The uncle of the deceased woman, Girdhariram told police that the mental state of his niece was not stable and she was also undergoing treatment.

The bodies had been sent for postmortem, the police added.
