A 25-year-old woman allegedly set herself ablaze at her house in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area today.
Police suspect that the woman, identified as Sandhya, took the extreme step due to marital discord.
"Sandhya married Prakash five years ago and it was her second marriage. It was Prakash's second marriage as well. There was an age difference of 12-13 years between Sandhya and Prakash and she wasn't happy with him," said a senior police officer.

A magisterial inquiry is being conducted in the matter and Sandhya's parents will be questioned.
Till now, her family hasn't alleged any foul play in her death, he said.
