A 25-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison and her husband was arrested in this connection.
Vandana, a teacher at a Municipal Corporation of Delhi school, was spotted in an unconscious state by a family member in her home at Welcome area of east Delhi on Friday evening.
She was admitted to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital where she died on Saturday during treatment.
Vandana had reportedly called her parents after consuming some poisonous substance saying that she was going to die.
Her husband Manish has been arrested today following a magisterial inquiry in the case, police said.
Vandana married Manish in January this year.
She was depressed due to some family disputes which probably made her take this extreme step, said a police officer.
